By car

The campus of the Technical University of Dortmund is located near the Dortmund West highway junction, where the A45 Sauerland line crosses the B1/A40 Ruhr expressway. The Dortmund-Eichlinghofen exit on the A45 leads to Campus South, the Dortmund-Dorstfeld exit on the A40 to Campus North. The university is signposted at both exits.

By bus and train

The "Dortmund Universität" S-Bahn station is located directly on the North Campus. From there, the S-Bahn line S1 runs every 15 or 30 minutes to Dortmund main station and in the opposite direction to Düsseldorf main station via Bochum, Essen and Duisburg. The university can also be reached by bus lines 445, 447 and 462. Timetable information can be found on the homepage of the Rhine-Ruhr transport association, and DSW21 also offers an interactive route network map.

The H-Bahn

The H-Bahn is one of the landmarks of TU Dortmund University. Line 1 runs every 10 minutes between Dortmund Eichlinghofen and the Technology Center via Campus South and Dortmund University S, while Line 2 runs every 5 minutes between Campus North and Campus South. It covers this route in two minutes.

By airplane

From Dortmund Airport, you can take the AirportExpress to Dortmund Central Station in just over 20 minutes and from there take the S-Bahn to the university. Düsseldorf Airport, which is around 60 kilometers away, offers a wider range of international flight connections and can be reached directly by S-Bahn from the university station.

Old exams

The student council has a Moodle course: "Raum des unendlichen Wissens" (RduW for short) with all kinds of learning materials. You cannot register in this room yourself.

What do you have to do to gain access?

Access is only granted to students of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering (BCI), Process System Engineering (PSE) and Biopharmaceutical Engineering (BPE).

Register via LSF for the "Raum des unendlichen Wissens" (see picture, selection of SoSe 25)
Then we will register you in the Moodle course and you can prepare even better for upcoming courses. Enrollment takes place once a week.

The materials should remain within our department for data protection and copyright reasons. Therefore, we have to check via LSF whether you are really studying with us.

You have something that could help others with their studies, but it's not in the Moodle course?

You can upload materials directly via the "Raum des unendlichen Wissens" and make them available to your fellow students. This keeps the Moodleraum up to date and everyone benefits from it.
